About

Mia Beaudoin-Dion is an Outaouais composer, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist influenced by a wide array of genres such as classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary music. Inspired by these genres, Mia portray versatile moods in their work from the beautiful to the strange, through to the ecstatic to the sad, or the heroic. Mia is especially interested in working on plays because inspiration often comes to them from the desire to evoke or support a narrative.

Mia holds a bachelor's degree in music composition and studied with Denis Gougeon and Ana Sokolovic. Over the past 10 years, they have produced sound design for Le Fâcheux Théâtre, Théâtre Tremplin, Karianne Lachance, the University of Ottawa, etc.
